Aberfeldy 12

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 40%

Score: 89 Points

This is a malt I often recommend to new whisky drinkers. It has a light and floral nose with good maltiness, along with dried grass and garden herbs. The taste starts off thick and sweet, then explodes in a burst of cinnamon and other spices that fades to show notes of molasses and hazelnut. The finish is slightly tart.
