Generations of Kentucky families made whiskey and Bourbon, but once Prohibition ended, not all of those families returned to their traditions. One branch of the Beam family is reclaiming its past at Limestone Branch Distillery near Lebanon, while the descendants of the Willett family are back making whiskey in Bardstown after three decades of watching others make whiskies for them.
