Midleton Very Rare 2009

Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Irish Pot Still

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 40%

Score: 89 Points

The nose on this blended Irish whiskey is crisp and light with green apples and a hint of mint. The taste is sharp with green apples, cilantro, and notes of honey and citrus fruits that develop as the cilantro spiciness fades. The finish is smooth, light, slightly tart, and lingering.
