This was aged in refill sherry butts for 28 years, and the nose is spicy with cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and honey notes. The taste is spicy and mouth-tingling with notes of molasses, honey, and orange peel. The finish is long with spices on top and notes of molasses and black licorice below. A very complex dram.
