Invergordon 1971

Country: Scotland

Region:

Type: Single Grain

Bottler: Berry Bros. & Rudd

ABV: 48%

Score: 92 Points

Single grain whiskies don’t get enough respect in my opinion, but this one deserves plenty of respect! It’s a light gold, oily and thick in the glass, with notes of coconut and banana on the nose. The taste is surprisingly spicy, with a peppery kick that fades to reveal the fruity notes from the nose. The finish is light and tropical-fruit sweet.
