Ichiro Akuto used 9 different malt whiskies and 2 different grain whiskies in this blend, and the nose is rich and aromatic with notes of lemongrass, pine nuts, grapefruit, red apples, and oak. The taste is a great balance of spice and tartness with cinnamon, lemon, a hint of licorice that develops as the cinnamon fades, and a touch of cashews to boot. The finish is lemony-tart and long.
