Highland Park 1970 Orcadian Vintage
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 48%
Score: 95 Points
This one sells for $3,500, and is the best Highland Park I’ve ever tasted! The nose has the classic Highland Park honey note, along with tropical fruits, light oak, and a hint of campfire smoke. The taste has a cilantro spiciness on top, honey and vanilla notes underneath, and is thick and nectar-like with just a touch of wood and peat smoke. The finish is long and well-balanced with honey and soft spicy notes.
