Glen Grant 37
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Highlander Inn
ABV: 53%
Score: 95 Points
The Highlander Inn in Craigellachie is the only place you’ll find this Glen Grant. The sherry hogshead cask gives it a dark cola color and a nose that’s sharp and full of flavor, with notes of cinnamon, rum, brown sugar, and apples. The taste is intense, chewy and spicy with notes of cinnamon, allspice, orange peel, and fig with oak notes that show up, but don’t dominate the flavor. The finish is smooth and dry with oaky notes and a slight hint of mint.
