G. Rozelieures Whisky de Lorraine
Country: France
Region:
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 84 Points
This whisky from France’s Lorraine region is a blend of ex-sherry and ex-Cognac casks, and is slightly peated. The nose reflects that hint of peat with a bit of ashiness, allspice, peach, pear, and plum notes. The taste is fruity with a nice smoky touch, peach pie, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg notes. The finish has mild smoke and a slight hint of citrus.
