Producing WhiskyCast has given me the opportunity to taste some really amazing whiskies, and I’m pleased to share my tasting notes with you here. You can search my entire database of tasting notes from this page, and I hope you’ll find it useful.
The original Four Roses bourbon has a nose of vanilla, caramel, molasses and brown sugar, with a touch of roasted corn on the cob. The taste has that same corn on the cob note, along with rye bread, mild cinnamon, allspice, orange, dark chocolate, and a hint of oak. The finish is nice and clean with a hint of vanilla.
