This is the first whisky known to be aged in Canadian oak barrels and distilled from 100% Canadian grains, and the nose has notes of soft spices, sawdust, shredded wheat cereal, and honey. The taste is very smooth with honey, soft cinnamon, dark chocolate, and a hint of pears that carries into the finish, which lingers nicely with a touch of honey. Outstanding!
