The Dalmore 1973 Gonzales Byass

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 42%

Score: 97 Points

This whisky was aged in an Oloroso sherry cask, and the nose has a slight pepperiness, a hint of fruits, a light orange note, and hints of malt and grass. The taste is rich and spicy at first with orange notes and a lemon tartness. The finish is lingering and smooth with a citrusy tartness. Outstanding!
