The nose is campfire smoke, dried leaves, dried oranges and pears, caramel, and licorice. The taste is very well-balanced and thick with sherry cask notes, toffee, molasses, and just a kiss of smokiness. The finish has a good mix of tartness and sweetness with notes of charred oak, vanilla, and caramel.
