Benromach PX Finish
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 45%
Score: 92 Points
This malt was finished for 30 months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Williams & Humbert, and the nose reflects this with notes of dried fruits, orange peel, figs, and a hint of ginger root. The taste is smooth and fruity with a nice touch of cinnamon that doesn’t overpower the fruitiness. There are hints of orange peel, lemon zest, mango, and brown sugar that last through the long finish with just a touch of spice.
