Ardmore Traditional

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43%

Score: 90 Points

This is a rarity…a heavily-peated Highland single malt. The nose is peaty and pungent, but a splash of water reveals grassy and floral notes, including rose petals. The taste is a great balance between peat and sweet, with notes of molasses cookies and maple syrup. The peatiness returns in the finish with a smoky kick.
