Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 93 Points

This Japanese single malt comes from the Fuji Gotemba Distillery at the base of Mount Fuji, and is matured in a combination of American Oak and French Oak red wine barrels. The nose has a nice balance of fruitiness and malty character along with touches of dried flowers and honey. The taste starts off light at first, then spices kick in with a touch of charred oak. Barley sugar and tropical fruits add balance and complexity in the background. The finish is long and mouth-watering. Excellent! (January, 2026)
