This Rye whiskey comes from the New York Distilling Company in Brooklyn, and was finished in apple brandy casks. The nose has touches of red apples, peaches, soft spices, and a hint of molasses. The taste is full of apples and red grapes at first, with a slow onset of clove and cinnamon spices that fade to reveal notes of peaches and molasses cookies leading into a long and sweet finish.
