This 2009 vintage Kavalan whisky has a malty nose with citrusy touches of lemon and lime, freshly cut grass, and honey. The taste is fruity with red apples at first, followed by a burst of cinnamon with hints of citrusy tartness and honey in the background. The finish is long and spicy. Excellent! (March, 2025)
