This whiskey is the first to be distilled at Bulleit’s Shelbyville, Kentucky distillery, and comes from the 2017 fall distilling season. The nose has touches of caramel, tobacco leaf, soft spices, honey, vanilla, and cocoa. The taste has notes of cocoa, cinnamon, black pepper, red apples, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and peppery with a hint of red apples. Very nice! (March, 2025)
