This whiskey was distilled in 2018 from a “Monongahela mash” of 80% rye and 20% malted barley, and the nose is very aromatic with baking spices, brown sugar, and honey. The taste is thick and spicy with clove, cinnamon, and allspice notes balanced by brown sugar, honey, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and aromatic with lingering spices. Very nice!
