Colere is part of Westland’s Outpost Range, and explores the different flavors barley can produce in a whisky. This 2024 release has a fruity nose at first with a hint of nuts, followed by subtle spices and a nice maltiness. The taste is spicy with white pepper and clove complemented by roasted nuts and barley sugar for a good balance and complexity. The finish is long and spicy with a touch of dried fruits.
