Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43%

Score: 92 Points

Unlike the flagship 12-year-old Dalmore, which uses a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks, this 12-year-old single malt is completely matured in ex-Sherry casks. The nose has touches of figs, dates, toffee, honey, and a hint of dark chocolate. The taste is thick and chewy with citrus fruits, figs, toffee, and a touch of white pepper that adds complexity. The finish is long with lingering touches of white pepper, citrus fruits, and toffee. (December, 2023)
