This Bourbon was distilled and first matured in Kentucky, then taken by ship to England for a final year of maturation. The nose has dry spices, a hint of citrus, butterscotch, and vanilla. The taste is spicy and bold with cinnamon, black pepper, and chili powder notes on top of citrus fruits, leather, vanilla, and caramel candy. The finish is long with lingering spices and touches of citrus fruits and leather. (December, 2023)
