This blend of straight Bourbons from Nelson Bros. is finished in Imperial Stout casks, and the nose has touches of oatmeal with honey, vanilla, and a soft oakiness. The taste has notes of chocolate candies, subtle spices, a hint of hops, and oak tannins. The finish is long with lingering spices and a touch of stout. (October, 2023)
