This is a blend of Bourbon and Rye whiskies finished for 14 months in Carter Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. The nose has touches of dried flowers, cinnamon bark, leather, and a hint of pecan wood. The taste has notes of plums and raisins along with pecans, butter cream, and oak tannins. The finish is long and dry with a touch of toasted oak. (October, 2023)
