This blended Scotch comes from Outlander star Sam Heughan’s Sassenach Spirits, and the nose is malty with a honey sweetness and touches of red apples, peaches, pears, and a hint of seaweed. The taste is peppery with a touch of barley sugar, grilled pineapple, citrus fruits, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and malty with a touch of spice. Very nice. (October, 2023)
