In addition to the 2023 Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon, head distiller Owen Martin has also created a Rye bottled at 57.2% ABV. The nose has notes of baking spices, dried flowers, orange marmalade, and toasted oak. The taste has spicy notes of clove, cinnamon, and allspice that fade slowly to reveal dried flowers, orange marmalade, honey, and vanilla. The finish is very long with lingering allspice, dried flowers, and a touch of honey. (September, 2023)
