Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 92 Points

This debut malt in Old Pulteney’s Coastal Series is finished in French Pineau des Charentes wine casks, and the influence can be felt on the nose with its aromas of peaches, red apples, and a hint of apricots. The taste is fruity and sweet with a nice balance of cooked fruits, raspberry jam, and hints of wood spices. The finish is long and spicy with a nice underlying fruity character. (July, 2023)
