House of Hazelwood “The Eight Grain”

House of Hazelwood

Country: Scotland

Region:

Type: Blended Grain

Bottler: House of Hazelwood

ABV: 48.5%

Score: 94 Points

This 40-year-old blended grain Scotch whisky has a fruity nose with aromas of lemon furniture polish, dried flowers, and vanilla cream. The taste brings together pineapple, lemon zest, dried fruits, bananas, honey, and vanilla cream with a slight hint of menthol. The finish is long and tongue-tingling with pineapple, lemon zest, and a hint of grapefruit. Outstanding! (July, 2023)
