This batch honors the time Booker Noe spent as an apprentice learning the craft of distilling from his cousin Carl Beam before being turned loose to manage the Beam distillery in Boston, Kentucky that now carries his name. The nose has touches of vanilla pods, caramel candy, dried fruits, and honey. The taste is thick and oily with notes of black pepper and cinnamon balanced by dried fruits, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and spicy with a touch of cooked fruits. (July, 2023)
