This Japanese whisky comes from the Hikari Shuzo Distillery in Fukuoka, and is matured in ex-Sherry casks. The nose has touches of cooked fruits, raisins, and plums. The taste is thick, spicy, and mouth-filling with cooked fruits, white pepper, ginger, and touches of raisins and plums. The finish is long with lingering fruits, spices, and a touch of beefiness.
