Region: Kentucky

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 47%

Score: 92 Points

This 5-year-old whiskey is the first foray into American Single Malts for the James B. Beam Distilling Company, and takes its name from Jim Beam’s home town of Clermont, Kentucky. The nose is malty with touches of red apples, peaches, and honey. The taste has notes of barley sugar, cinnamon, clove, honey, red apples, and peaches. The finish is long and malty with lingering spices. An excellent debut! (June, 2023)
