This is the 100% Rye sibling of WhistlePig’s first Bourbon, and like the FarmStock Beyond Bonded Bourbon, it’s distilled and matured at the WhistlePig Farm in Vermont. The nose has hints of dill, anise, brown sugar, molasses, and baking spices. The taste is spicy with clove, cinnamon, and a hint of cardamom complemented by molasses cookies, toasted oak, and hints of anise and dill. The finish is long and spicy. (July, 2021)
