This 8-year-old Blended Scotch is finished in Port wine casks, and the nose is amazingly fruity with notes of raspberry jam, red grapes and a hint of figs along with touches of honeycomb and muted spices. The taste is fruity and vibrant with raspberries and strawberries at first, followed by a subtle spiciness that comes alive slowly with touches of ginger and allspice while honey sweetness pulls it all together in the background. The finish is long and fruity with a hint of spice, leaving you ready for another dram. An excellent, easy-drinking whisky! (January, 2021)
