This year’s edition in Diageo’s Special Releases series has a tart, fruity nose with notes of pineapple, green apples, lemon, and a hint of kiwi fruit. The taste starts off sweet and fruity at first, followed by a burst of white pepper and chili powder. Water smoothes out the spices while opening up a nice fruitiness on the palate as well. The finish is long with nice lingering spices and subtle hints of citrus. Excellent! (October, 2020)
