WhistlePig Rye FarmStock Crop #3
Country: USA
Region:
Type: Rye Whiskey
Bottler: WhistlePig Farm
ABV: 43%
Score: 89 Points
This whiskey is a blend of 52% WhistlePig’s own 3-year-old Rye whiskey distilled in Vermont with 48% 6 and 10-year-old rye whiskies from Alberta Distillers in Canada. The nose is sweet with a hint of maple, soft baking spices, honey, vanilla, and caramel. The taste is spicy with a touch of apples balanced by clove, allspice, and a hint of cinnamon while touches of honey and a citrusy tartness fill in the background. The finish is long with gentle spices and touches of apples and honey. (May, 2020)
