Part of the Empire Rye project created by New York craft distillers, with a dry, dusty nose full of good baking spices, touches of dried apples, banana chips, and a hint of dried fruits. The taste has a nice balance of clove, allspice, ginger, and a hint of dill balanced by a soft oakiness, dried fruits, and honey. The finish is long and spicy with touches of honey, cherries, and caramel cola. (April, 2020)
