High West A Midwinter Night’s Dram 2019 Edition

Look for “Act 7” on the label to identify the 2019 release – and just as with previous releases, takes High West’s Rendezvous Rye blend of straight ryes and finishes it in French Oak Port wine barrels. The nose has notes of red grapes, mild baking spices, and a hint of molasses cookies. The taste is full of plums, raspberries, and hints of ginger, clove, allspice, and molasses. The finish is long and spicy with a hint of dark fruits. (April, 2020)
