Coldfoot Whiskey Edition No. 1
Country: USA
Region: Washington
Type: American Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 50%
Score: 92 Points
Coldfoot is a collaboration between two Seattle neighbors: Westland Distillery and Filson, the outdoor gear and clothing maker located just down the street. This American single malt has an aromatic nose with touches of walnuts, caramel apples, and cocoa beans. The taste has a heathery peatiness with campfire smoke and notes of cocoa beans, dried fruits, honey, and a hint of toffee for a well-rounded and complex flavor. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of underlying sweetness. (February, 2020)
