Egan's Centenary Irish Whiskey. Image courtesy P.&H. Egan, Ltd.This Irish Whiskey was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Egan’s co-founder Henry Egan in 1919, and is a blend of Irish single malt and grain whiskies finished in French Limousin Oak Cognac casks. The nose has notes of dried flowers, honey, and hints of apricots and raisins. The taste has a good balance of tree fruits, muted spices, honey, and raisins with a nice, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long and subtle with hints of fruit and dried flowers. (January, 2020)
