Tobermory 18
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46.3%
Score: 91 Points
This Tobermory originated in the German market, and distribution has since been expanded to other countries. Bourbon cask maturation gives it a light color and a nose that’s malty and dry with touches of sawdust, honey, vanilla, and hints of fresh berries. The taste is fruity with fresh berries, red apples, sawdust, allspice, and hints of honey and butterscotch. The finish has a lingering fruitiness and subtle touches of spice. (December, 2019)
