This year’s release of Angel’s Envy Cask Strength has a nose full of dark chocolate, honey, vanilla, muted spices, and an unusual touch of banana. The taste is thick, oily, and mouth-coating with clove, cinnamon, honey, brown sugar, and banana cream pie. Adding water is recommended, and will bring out a strong note of caramel apples. The finish is nice and long with good spices, a touch of cherry pipe tobacco, honey, dark chocolate, and a touch of dried fruits. Very nice! (October, 2019)
