Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 50%
Score: 94 Points
This 7-year-old Bottled in Bond Bourbon from Heaven Hill made its debut in 2019, 80 years after the original Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond Bourbon was the first whiskey released by Heaven Hill in 1939. The nose is aromatic with a good oakiness and notes of brown sugar, dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel apples, and black cherries. The taste has a great balance of spices and sweeter notes with peppercorns, cinnamon, and a hint of clove balanced by brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, and dark chocolate. The spices build to a nice crescendo on the finish and fade away slowly while the sweetness lingers. Excellent! (October, 2019)
