Hockey Hall of Fame goalie Ed Belfour and his son Dayn created this rye whiskey while working on plans for their own distillery to be built in Kentucky. The nose is warm and spicy with hints of clove, cinnamon, toasted oak, dark chocolate, rye bread, and honey. The taste is spicy with a slight tartness of lemon pepper and touches of clove and cinnamon balanced by honey, vanilla, and cocoa. The finish is long and spicy with a lingering tartness.
