Rock Town 9th Anniversary Arkansas Single Malt
Country: USA
Region: Arkansas
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 47%
Score: 92 Points
Little Rock’s Rock Town Distillery celebrates its anniversary each year with a unique limited-edition release for sale at the distillery, and the 2019 anniversary edition is a single malt that was matured for two years in ex-Bourbon barrels with a final year in a used Cognac cask.
The nose is malty and fruity with a nice touch of berry cobbler, along with honey, vanilla, and a nice oakiness. The taste has a good balance of fruitiness and subtle spices with notes of fresh berries, red apples, allspice, ginger, barley sugar, and honey. The finish is long and vibrant with lots of fruit and subtle touches of spices and maltiness. Excellent! (September, 2019)
