Virginia Distillery Company Chardonnay Cask Finish
Country: USA
Region:
Type: Blended Whisky
Bottler: Virginia Distillery Company
ABV: 46%
Score: 88 Points
This whisky combines Virginia Distillery’s own malt whisky with malt whisky imported from Scotland, and the blend is then finished in Chardonnay wine casks. The nose is fruity and tart with green apples, green grapes, a hint of pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. The taste is tart and spicy with white pepper balancing green apples, lemon and lime citrus, and a hint of vanilla. The finish is short with a touch of citrus and pepperiness that fades away quickly.
