This 10-year-old Irish single malt was first matured in ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose is malty and sweet with muted spices, oak, caramel, and vanilla notes The taste is spicy and peppery with an underlying fruitiness of red apples and grapes along with caramel candy and vanilla. The finish fades away smoothly with lingering spices. (May, 2019)
