Jeptha Creed Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 49%
Score: 94 Points
This is Jeptha Creed’s flagship four-grain Bourbon distilled using Bloody Butcher heirloom corn grown on the Nethery family’s farm, and is to be released in the spring of 2019. The nose has notes of caramel corn, red fruits, berries, pomegranate, honey, and vanilla. The taste starts off creamy and smooth, with spices that develop slowly and burst into full flavor with clove, black pepper, and allspice balanced by honey and vanilla in the background. The finish is long with lingering spices. (February, 2019)
