The Dubliner Master Distiller’s Reserve
Country: Ireland
Region:
Type: Irish Whiskey
Bottler: Quintessential Brands
ABV: 42%
Score: 90 Points
Dublin Liberties Distillery master distiller Darryl McNally created this whiskey from a blend of seven different Irish malt and grain whiskies matured in ex-Bourbon casks. The nose is fruity with notes of apples, peaches, and a hint of apricots along with muted spices and a touch of maltiness in the background. The taste is fruity and light with apples, peaches, honey, and dried flowers at first, followed by spicy notes of ginger and white pepper that take some time to come alive but stick around through the finish with hints of honey and vanilla.
