Six & Twenty 5-Grain Bourbon
Country: USA
Region: South Carolina
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 45%
Score: 92 Points
Six & Twenty Distillery in Powdersville, South Carolina sources the grains for this two-year-old Bourbon from farmers around the state, using locally-grown red winter wheat, corn, rye, barley, and rice. The nose has a good aroma with a subtle sweetness and notes of honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and hints of oak. The taste is well-rounded and full of flavor with soft notes of black pepper, coriander, honey, vanilla, and a hint of molasses. The finish is long with a slight oakiness and touches of brown sugar, molasses, and ginger. Excellent! (October, 2018)
